ABSTRACT:
Fluorescent tagging compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein A is a member selected from the group consisting of an aromatic ring, a heteroaromatic ring, and a heterocyclic ring, and R is a linking moiety having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, optionally containing nitrogen atoms, sulfur atoms, oxygen atoms, carbonyl groups, carboxyl groups, and/or amide groups, as well as fluorescent tagged oligosaccharide adducts derived therefrom are disclosed.
