Fluorescent dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## wherein X and Y denote hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, aralkyl, alkenyl, hydroxyl, amino, alkoxy, aralkoxy, cycloalkoxy, aryloxy, alkylmercapto, alkylamino, dialkylamino, morpholino, piperidino, piperazino, pyrrolidino, acylamino or arylamino.
