ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a fluid vaporizing apparatus (18), comprising a bottom section (28) and a cover section (27) enclosing a fluid chamber (33) containing fluid to be vaporized, and a gas chamber (34) into which fluid is vaporized, and a port (39) for discharging from gas chamber (34) the vapour evaporated from the fluid chamber. Said port (39) is located above the fluid level when the angle of inclination of the fluid vaporizing apparatus differs from the operating position of the apparatus by more than 45.degree.. The invention relates also the use of a fluid vaporizing apparatus in the evaporation of anaesthetic fluids.
