Embodiments of a fluid storage and introduction device20constructed in accordance with aspects of the present invention are provided. One embodiment of the device20includes an inner assembly24and an outer housing26. When assembled, the device20is securely coupled to a cable or cable section30along a portion of its span. In use, the device20is capable of storing remediation fluid and introducing such fluid into the cable or cable section30.
