ABSTRACT:
A fluid flow restrictor is described having a long path length capable of sorbing energy with less noise generation than that normally encountered with conventional fluid flow restrictors of short path lengths. The restrictor is adapted for attachment between two adjacent lengths of a pipeline, three forms being particularly described, one of fixed path length and bore, another of fixed path length and variable bore, and a third of variable path length and fixed bore.
