ABSTRACT:
A fluid-driven actuator including a barrier having narrow openings, an inflatable sac having two portions, a first portion including working surface external to the barrier means, and a second portion compactly folded behind the barrier means, and a movable member positioned for engagement by the working surface of the sac and moved when the sac is inflated and the second portion of the sac is drawn through the narrow openings in the barrier means.
