ABSTRACT:
A connecting layer for interconnecting fluid control devices in series and in parallel comprises an upper connecting layer4and a lower connecting layer5. The upper connecting layer4is provided by parallel rows each comprising block couplings41, 42, 43, 44arranged longitudinally of the apparatus, each of the block couplings having a longitudinal channel61for interconnecting the adjacent fluid control devices in the row and a through channel62communicating with the fluid control device. The lower connecting layer5is provided by block coupling56, 57, 58each having a lateral channel64for interconnecting the through channels62of the block couplings41, 42, 43, 44of the upper connecting layer4which are arranged laterally and by block couplings51each adapted to cause the through channel62of the block coupling41, 43, 44of the upper connecting layer4to communicate with an inlet-side or outlet-side coupling52, 53. The couplings51, 56, 57, 58of the lower connecting layer5are attached to a base plate2with screws from above, and the couplings41, 42, 43, 44of the upper connecting layer4are attached to the couplings51, 56, 57, 58of the lower connecting layer5with screws form above.
