ABSTRACT:
A fluid connector assembly10for a fuel pipe of a motor vehicle comprises a plug12and a housing11. The housing11has an end opening23and the plug12has a free end26for insertion through the end opening23. The housing11also includes a seal housing portion16for receiving the free end26of the plug12and a coupling portion17. The plug12includes first and second annular ribs27, 28spaced apart from each other and offset from the free end26. The annular ribs27, 28are arranged to successively be held by a pair of grips24located inside the coupling portion when the plug12is inserted into the housing11in such a way that when the first annular rib27is retained by the grips24the plug12is sealed by seal means18in the seal housing portion16and when the second annular rib28is retained by the grips24the first annular rib27is housed between the coupling portion17and the seal housing portion16.
