ABSTRACT:
A multi-part diaphragm-sealed valve suitable for use in high or low pressure chromatography of the type actuated by a spring biased within a cylinder. The piston is provided with a stop means to limit compression of the springs. A groove is provided in the cylinder wall to allow quick pressure build up and decay within the spring to insure quick action of the valve itself.
