A flowsplitting conveyor device for controlling a load imposed on a conveyor utilizes a load allocating device which is capable of dividing a incoming load between two receiving conveyors for the purpose of balancing the load between the two receiving conveyors or it can be used to allocate the entire load to either one of the receiving conveyors.
