ABSTRACT:
A flow meter using digital signals constructed in a small size and outputting an electric signal of a position of a float in a tapered tube with high accuracy is provided.A first reflecting means6has a ray20entered from the entering means5and reflected, and a second reflecting means7reflecting the ray20reflected from the first reflecting means6toward the first reflecting means6at least once. An emitting means8has the ray20entered and emits it, and an image sensor9has the ray20from the emitting means8entered and outputs an image of the float3in the tapered tube1, while a control portion executes input processing of an image and outputs an electric signal S1indicating the flow rate of a fluid2by detecting the position of the float3.
