A temporary floor covering10that allows air and moisture to pass through the covering10is disclosed. The floor covering10has a first layer12,a second layer14connected to the first layer12,and a plurality of perforations18in the covering10.The first layer12is typically made of a low-density polyethylene foam, and the second layer14is typically made of a polyethylene film. The perforations18extend through the first and second layers12, 14to allow air and moisture to pass through both the first layer12and the second layer14.Additionally, an outer surface of one of the first layer12or the second layer14may have an increased coefficient of friction.
