ABSTRACT:
Solids dispersed or suspended in aqueous systems are flocculated or precipitated by adding to said system a flocculating amount of a blend, either in dry form or in an aqueous solution, containing a polymeric mixture of from about 2 to about 3 parts by weight of a polyvinyl pyrrolidone, having a K-value of about 80 to 140, and about 1 part by weight of polyethylene imine having a viscosity of about 20 to 5,000 centipoises.
