ABSTRACT:
A connector1according to the invention comprises a main body10for receiving the front end of a flat cable2being inserted therein, a movable pressurizing member11adapted to press and rigidly secure in position the flat cable2inserted into the main body10and projections13arranged either on the main body10or on the pressurizing member11so as to be engaged respectively with the corresponding holes23of the flat cable2when the front end of the flat cable is inserted into the connector1to take a right position in the connector1. The flat cable2comprises a flexible base member21and wires22formed in the flexible base member21, the flexible base member21being provided with holes23to be engaged respectively with the corresponding projections13arranged in the connector1when the flexible base member21is inserted into the connector1to take a right position in the connector1.
