ABSTRACT:
In a closed-loop flash dryer, hot gas is introduced through a horizontal or downwardly directed nozzle. This configuration is especially adapted for drying heat-sensitive materials. The use of a single nozzle eliminates damage to equipment which results from differential expansion.
