ABSTRACT:
A guide tapered surface17of a pipe coupling port16has a small diameter portion17aguiding to a distal end portion3aof a bite type sleeve3to bite into a coupling pipe5and a large diameter portion17bsealing a tapered outer circumferential surface33of the bite type sleeve3by making close contact with the tapered outer circumferential surface33of the bite type sleeve3. A tilt angle α1of the small diameter portion17arelative to a central axis of the guide tapered surface17is greater than a tilt angle α2of the large diameter portion17brelative to the central axis. Therefore, even when a distal end portion of the coupling pipe5is not inserted up to an innermost portion of the pipe coupling port16, excellent sealing performance is obtained in a portion coupled to the coupling pipe.
