ABSTRACT:
An internal combustion engine intake system10having a flange area12with a first inlet channel14and a second inlet channel13for each cylinder of the engine and a flap arrangement for closing the second inlet channel14arranged in the flange area. The flap arrangement includes an actuating shaft15on which flaps33are provided for closing each of the second inlet channels14when the actuating shaft15is operated. The actuating shaft15is integrated into the flange area12of the intake system10and supported by bearing elements16,which are inserted in mating receptacle profiles18formed in the flange area12,so that the actuating shaft15is surrounded by the individual bearing elements16over an angular range of substantially greater than 180°.
