ABSTRACT:
Compositions for the flameproofing of plastics, said compositions containing from 0.1% to 20% by weight, relative to the plastic, of red phosphorus in the form of particles having a mean diameter less than 200.mu., encapsulated in a polymer which does not have a melting point or softening point below 90.degree. C., and which has a molecular weight greater than 2,000.
