ABSTRACT:
A flame-retardant polyamide composition comprising 98 to 60% by weight of a polyamide and, uniformly dispersed therein, 2 to 40% by weight of melamine cyanurate, characterized in that nearly 100% of the latter particles have a particle size of at most 35.mu. and at least 80% by weight of the particles have a particle size of at most 10.mu.; and a process for producing said composition.
