ABSTRACT:
Flame resistance is imparted to high polyester content (50%) polyester/cotton blend fabrics by the successive application of a cyclic phosphonate ester flame retardant followed by THP/urea precondensate/NH.sub.3 and then by THPS. Commercially acceptable, flame retarded polyester/cotton products with improved hand result.
