ABSTRACT:
A fixing mechanism of a gut6holding a lens20onto a half rim1prevents the gut6from being cut off by a large force acting on a bent part of the gut6. The fixing mechanism includes an attachment part2of the half rim1, to which a part of the periphery of the lens20is held, the lens20,and the gut6fixing the lens20to the attachment part2by pressing the periphery of the lens20and thereby pressing the lens20toward the attachment part2. The fixing mechanism further includes holding members8and11holding each end of the gut6on the both sides of the attachment part2of the half rim1, which holding members8and11are arranged in hollow parts7and10, respectively, formed on both the side parts of the attachment part2of the half rim1.
