ABSTRACT:
A fitting and pipe section assembly10that is capable of being installed in tubing20A and20B of a jetted bath to render the tubing20A and20B adaptable to accept a close fit fluid flow device30. The fitting and pipe section assembly10includes a pipe section12, first and second fittings18A and18B, and first and second indicia17A and17B. The pipe section12has a center segment16between inlet and outlet end portions14A and14B. The inlet and outlet portions14A and14B may be placed in fluid flow communication with an inlet and an outlet of the tubing20A and20B. The first and second fittings18A and18B are disposed on the inlet and outlet portions of the pipe section14A and14B. The first and second indicia17A and17B on the pipe section12define the center segment16of the pipe section12and guide post-installation cutting of the pipe section12at predetermined points. The center segment16of the pipe section12may be selectively removed leaving the inlet and outlet portions14A and14B including the first and second fittings18A and18B. The fitting and pipe section assembly10may accept the close fit device30between the inlet and outlet portions14A and14B of the fitting and pipe section assembly10.
