A fish alarm system100comprising: an alarm toggle switch110in combination with a tension clip130; an enclosure150; an alarm160; and power source180; wherein the alarm toggle switch110may include an at least two position switch, having an alarm toggle arm112disposed through the enclosure150attached with the tension clip130such that a fishing line310may be inserted in the tension clip130whereby as the force on the fishing line310increases, the tension of the tension clip130may allow the alarm toggle arm112to move from an off position113to an interim or bite position114for activating the alarm160, from the interim position114to a hook set position115for hook set and possible second alarm, and then release the fishing line310from the tension clip130.
