This invention is directed to bundling and banding machine that forms and bands bundles of firewood into the shape of a stable wood pile that can be easily removed from the machine, transported as a banded bundle and when deposited at its final destination and the bands are removed it will stand as a stable wood pile, with a minimum of distortion or need of restacking.
