ABSTRACT:
Finely particulate cellulose esters of aromatic or aromatic-aliphatic carboxylic acids in the form of substantially spherical, partially crystalline particles having an average diameter of 1 to 200 .mu.m and a specific surface area of 10 to 300 m.sup.2 /g, are suitable for use as stationary phase in methods of chromatographic separation, especially for the resolution of racemates.
