ABSTRACT:
Finely divided, transparent, metal-free X-phthalocyanine has a specific surface area of from 75 to 120 m.sup.2 g and not less than 80% by weight of the phthalocyanine particles have a Stokes-equivalent diameter of .ltoreq.0.12 .mu.m.
The phthalocyanine is very useful as a pigment for printing inks and finishes.
