ABSTRACT:
Holographic silver halide elements are disclosed comprising fine silver halide particles spectrally sensitized with dyes sensitive in the 615-660 m.mu. region. The dyes are of the formula: ##EQU1## WHEREIN Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 are heterocyclic rings as defined in the specification and R, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and L are defined in the specification.
