ABSTRACT:
An air cleaning filter comprising a layer (A) of water-repellent fiber and a layer (B) in which fiber bundles comprising aggregates of water-absorbent fibers are arranged. Layer (B) has an air permeability of not less than 100 cm.sup.3 /cm.sup.2 . s and is located upstream of layer (A).
