A filling connection for vehicles driven by internal combustion engines, which is fastened in an opening of the car body and has one section disposed on the inside of the car body adapted to be connected to a line leading to the fuel tank, while a section disposed on the outside is provided with an inner or outer thread onto which a lid may be screwed, and an axially effective sbaling is arranged between the lid and the section disposed on the outside.
