ABSTRACT:
A filament stock box having choke means mounted therein for controlling the flow of cut-to-length monofilament during the picking process is disclosed. The choke means provides a less dense downstream mass of filament to insure a smooth entry of pickers into the filament to form tufts without bending or crimping the filament to be picked.
This invention relates to new and useful apparatus for dispensing cut-to-length monofilaments during the tufting and fusing of synthetic brush and broom products.
