ABSTRACT:
A feed mechanism, for use with a right angle drill, capable of feeding a drill bit into a workpiece at variable thrust and position. The feed mechanism, attached to the cutting end of the drill, utilizes the mechanical advantage of a threaded member to feed the drill bit into and out of the workpiece. The entire drill and feed mechanism is held stationery during operation by a holding means which is fixedly attached to the workpiece and in which the feed mechanism is locked.
