ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to non-surface staining, light stable antioxidant compounds which reduce the fading, decoloration and degradation of various surfaces, ie., fabrics, from sunlight. These antioxidant compounds are butylated hydroxytoluene and sorbic acid derivatives, containing at least one C.sub.8 -C.sub.22 hydrocarbon fatty amine organic moiety and are either solid materials having a melting point of less than about 80.degree. Celsius, or are liquids at a temperature of less than about 40.degree. Celsius.
