The metal salt may be formed from metals including calcium, copper, magnesium, and zinc. Additional formulation enhancing agents, such as dispersants, wetting agents and gums, are typically included within the composition. The composition is advantageous in that it exhibits a residual fungicidal effect lasting up to 2 months.
