ABSTRACT:
A fastening apparatus for fastening a component B to a component A enables an automatic compensation of tolerances in the separation distance between the two components. The apparatus consists of a receiving element2, which can be fixed on the component A, an adjustment element4, which can be screwed to the receiving element via a first thread pairing28, 48of a first thread direction, and a fastening screw6, which can be screwed into the receiving element2via a second thread pairing54, 56of the opposite thread direction and can be connected with the adjustment element4via a detachable drag connection46, 54, in order to also turn the adjustment element4when the fastening screw6is turned and to thereby move for the purpose of tolerance compensation in abutment with component B. When screwed to the receiving element2, the adjustment element4can be moved to an end position serving as transport and installation position, in which the receiving element2and the adjustment element4are held together in one of several pre-determined angle positions via a detachable latch connection.
