ABSTRACT:
A cold water dispersible/emulsifible substantially water-free fabric softener liquid concentrates are described. The concentrates are composed of a fatty quaternary ammonium salt which contains at least one long chain alkyl group of 8 to 30 carbon atoms and an oil or substantially water-insoluble compound having oily/fatty properties. The concentrates are capable of being dispersed/emulsified in cold water at a temperature of 5.degree. to 30.degree. C.
