ABSTRACT:
In an eyeglass lens grinding apparatus, a material and a process condition of an eyeglass lens to be processed is input. A grinding wheel for grinding the lens is rotated at a variable rotational speed. That is, the lens is processed while variably changing the rotational speed of the grinding wheel in accordance with a preset value of the rotational speed of the grinding wheel based on the input material or a process condition of the lens. The processing, time period can be shortened and the quality of the process face can be improved.
