ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides extracts ofTrapa natans L.useful for inhibiting, interfering and/or controlling pathological angiogenesis or neovascularization of tissues. The invention also provides a method to inhibit metastatis of cancer of colon, lung, liver, kidney, breast and/or cervix in a subject, comprising administering an effective amount of an extract ofTrapa natans L.to the subject.
