ABSTRACT:
An expansion valve1integrated with a solenoid valve includes a valve body10and a valve chamber20formed inside the valve body10to which a high-pressure refrigerant is introduced. A valve member30forms a throttle flow path between a valve seat40, and controls the amount of refrigerant flowing therethrough. The valve body30is operated by the movement of a stopper member80of a power element60via an actuating rod100. The high-pressure refrigerant acts on a surface80aof the stopper member80opposite to a diaphragm70via a pressure equalizing passage12, a connecting chamber22of a solenoid valve200, and a pressure equalizing passage14. The stopper member80is sealed between the guide member90, so that the high-pressure refrigerant does not act directly on the diaphragm.
