ABSTRACT:
An evaporative fuel adsorbent32, which adsorbs evaporative fuel, is positioned substantially parallel to a sidewall surface30of a surge tank22. A retention member34is positioned between the sidewall surface22and evaporative fuel adsorbent32to prevent oil, which runs down on the sidewall surface22, from adhering to the evaporative fuel adsorbent32. The evaporative fuel adsorbent32is mounted on the sidewall surface30of the surge tank22via the retention member34.
