ABSTRACT:
A composite film structure composed of a layer (A) of high density polyethylene having an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.] as measured in decalin at 135.degree. C. of 1.3-2.9 dl/g, a melt index (MI.sub.A) of 0.3-7.0 g/10 min. and a density of 0.950-0.970 g/cm.sup.3, in which up to 2 mole % of an alpha-olefin may be contained; and layers (B) of an ethylene/C.sub.5 -C.sub.10 alpha-olefin random copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.] as measured in decalin at 135.degree. C. of 1.0-2.4 dl/g, a melt index (MI.sub.B) of 0.5-20 g/10 min., a density of 0.910-0.940 g/cm.sup.3, and a melting point of 115.degree.-130.degree. C., with the proviso that the MI.sub.A /MI.sub.B ratio is 0.15-4.0, said layers (B) being in direct contact with the two sides of said layer (A) and laminated thereto.
