ABSTRACT:
New ethylene glycol derivatives, inclusive of salts thereof, which have the formula: ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of 1 to 15; R.sup.1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing 6 to 26 carbon atoms; R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are independently H or lower alkyl, or ##STR2## represents a cyclic ammonio group, exhibit inhibitory activity to multiplication of tumor cells and antimicrobial activity.
