ABSTRACT:
There is described the preparation of esters of an acid having the structure CH.sub.2 .dbd.CHCO.sub.2 (CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CO.sub.2).sub.n H (AOnPA herein) and their use to form polymers, as reactive diluents and modifiers and as crosslinkers. In the above formula n has a value above 0.1. The polymers and the compositions are useful as coatings, binders and adhesives. The compositions are low in volatile components and toxicity.
