ABSTRACT:
4-Alkoxy-benzophenone derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, halogen, alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, vinyl or ethinyl, R.sub.2 represents hydrogen, halogen, halogen methyl or ethyl, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 together represent the cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl ring, R.sub.3 represents hydrogen, halogen, methyl, ethyl or alkoxy with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R.sub.4 represents hydrogen, halogen or methyl, R.sub.5 represents hydrogen or halogen or R.sub.3 and R.sub.5 together represent a carbon to carbon bond or an oxygen bridge, R.sub.6 represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, R.sub.7 represents hydrogen, halogen, alkyl or alkoxy, each with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, Y represents oxygen or the group --CH.sub.2 O--, wherein the CH.sub.2 group is bonded to the phenyl nucleus, and n and m is each 0 or 1, their manufacture and their use in combating insects and representatives of the order Acarina.
