ABSTRACT:
Cured epoxy resin compositions, having a glass transition temperature (Tg) over 300.degree. F. (149.degree. C.) coupled with coefficients of linear thermal expansion (CTE) closely approaching those of aluminum, find practical utility in tooling applications as a modeling stock. The epoxy resin composition comprises one or more epoxy resins, one or more aromatic amine hardeners or a blend of aromatic and aliphatic amine hardeners, and a combination of at least three fillers selected from the group consisting of glass fibers, glass microspheres, graphite fibers and mica.
