An epoxy resin composition comprising (I) 5 to 90% by weight of a cyclopentadiene resin, (II) 95 to 10% by weight of an epoxy resin and (III) an effective amount of a curing agent for the epoxy resin, having an acid number of not more than 150, a bromine number of not more than 75 and a softening point of not more than 170.degree.
