ABSTRACT:
There is described a process for the synthesis of a fluoronucleoside compound, said process comprising mixing a substrate and an enzyme fromStreptomyces cattelyaas catalyst. The process may be used to produce an18F labelled fluoronucleoside compound. There is also described an enzyme derived fromStreptomyces cattelyawhich has the capacity to catalyse the synthesis of a fluoronucleoside compound.
