ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to methods for the selection of transformed embryogenic tissue of coniferous plants. In particular, the invention relates to improved methods for selecting transformed embryogenic tissue of plants of the subgenusPinusof pines, particularly Southern yellow pines and hybrids thereof using an agent that regulates differentiation of embryos from embryogenic cells.
