ABSTRACT:
In an engine control apparatus for controlling the amount of fuel to be supplied by calculating the amount of liquid film or fuel adhered to an intake pipe of an engine, the adhesion rate of fuel and the time constant of evaporation of fuel in a preestimating manner, the time constant of evaporation is determined on the basis of the determined amount of liquid film, the amount of suction air and an air-to-fuel ratio upon fuel cut and the adhesion rate is determined on the basis of the amount of supply of fuel, the amount of suction air and an air-to-fuel ratio upon fuel recovery.
