ABSTRACT:
Desensitization of explosive ordnance is effected by the incorporation of a esensitizing agent into a matrix support material to form a bomb liner. The matrix support material holds the desensitizer in place, provides a barrier between the explosive and the metal casing, and controllably releases the desensitizing agent as the temperature of the explosive ordnance nears the rapid decomposition temperature.
