ABSTRACT:
An endoscope cleaning/disinfecting apparatus1according to the prevent invention includes an apparatus body2including a cleaning tank6for storing an endoscope retaining tray4in which an endoscope5is stored, a top cover3provided to the apparatus body2and caused by a cover body opening/closing mechanism unit to rotationally move between an open-state stop position and a closed-state stop position, a wireless tag14provided to either one of the endoscope retaining tray4and the endoscope5stored in the endoscope retaining tray4and transmitting information for identifying the type of the endoscope5, a wireless receiver unit22provided to the apparatus body2and receiving the information of the wireless tag14, and a control unit10provided to the apparatus body2and determining whether or not to cause an opening movement of the top cover3on the basis of the information obtained by the wireless receiver unit22to thereby control the rotational movement by the cover body opening/closing mechanism unit. Accordingly, cleaning and disinfection of the used endoscope can be hygienically and effectively performed.
